Guided Walks

One of the best ways of exploring the splendours of the Cape is by embarking on one of the many guided hiking trails, that cater to a wide variety of people (of varying degrees of difficulty).

The Cape provides an array of spectacular hiking trails which meander past waterfalls and ravines, through dry fynbos and amongst lush forest. In addition to beautiful scenery, experience an abundance of flora and birdlife.

Guided Walk Highlights:
• Numerous guided walks across the Cape Peninsula
• Appropriate planning is imperative
• Enjoy spectacular views from remote locations
• Witness an abundance of flora and birdlife

If you plan on doing a self-guided walk, it is imperative that you plan ahead and take a map book depicting your desired route. Alternatively, you can take a guided hike with a local or a guide who is knowledgeable of the area.

Popular hikes in the area include the famous Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the Constantiaberg and Silvermine Reserve.

Safe but fairly strenuous routes up Table mountain include Platteklip Gorge, Nursery Ravine, Skeleton Gorge, Kasteelspoort and slightly easier, Constantia Nek.
